PowerOffice Go Integration
Connect PowerOffice Go when you want your CRM companies and contact people to use the same customer context as your accounting system. This is useful for a small sales team that moves from outreach and meetings to proposals and sales orders while finance keeps the official accounting records in PowerOffice Go.
The connection has two directions:
| Direction | What it does |
|---|---|
| PowerOffice Go → CRM | A manual import creates or updates companies and linked contacts. |
| CRM → PowerOffice Go | Optional company and contact workflows send selected CRM changes to PowerOffice Go when records are created or updated. |
The company/contact import does not import invoices, sales orders, or products into CRM tables. Those are available as live views or actions on a company record.
Use cases
| Situation | How PowerOffice Go helps |
|---|---|
| Starting with finance’s directory | Import PowerOffice customers and suppliers as CRM companies, with contact people linked to the right company. |
| Managing mixed relationships | Keep one company when PowerOffice identifies it as both a customer and a supplier, with both roles retained. |
| Preparing a sales conversation | Review the customer’s invoices or sales orders from the company record before discussing a proposal or next step. |
| Creating the next commercial document | Create a PowerOffice sales order from the company record using products from the live catalogue. |
| Keeping records aligned | Enable customer and contact sync so CRM changes can update PowerOffice Go without manual re-entry. |
| Supporting custom sales views | Use imported companies, contacts, ownership, stage, and custom CRM fields to manage outreach and follow-up around the accounting context. |
Getting Started
Before you connect
Have ready:
- Access to the CRM workspace.
- A PowerOffice Go login that can authorise access to the intended client company.
- Permission to approve the connection and read customer, supplier, contact, invoice, order, or product information needed by your team.
- A browser that allows the sign-in window to open.
PowerOffice Go uses sign-in and authorisation. You do not need to paste a client key into the CRM.
Connect PowerOffice Go
- During onboarding, select Import from PowerOffice Go, or open Settings → Integrations and select Connect on the PowerOffice Go card.
- Select the option to sign in to PowerOffice Go and authorise access.
- Sign in with the account that can access the intended customer and supplier data.
- If more than one authorised client company is shown, select the correct client.
- Complete the connection flow.
Check the client name and organisation number before continuing. The selected client determines which records and accounting views are used in this workspace.
Select automatic sync
After the connection succeeds, the final screen may show:
- Sync customer to PowerOffice for CRM company creation and updates.
- Sync contact to PowerOffice for CRM contact creation and updates.
Turn on the workflows you want and press Continue. Leaving them off does not prevent the manual import or company-record actions from being used.
Import data
Import during onboarding
- In the onboarding Contacts import step, select PowerOffice Go.
- Sign in, authorise access, and choose the correct client company.
- Select any automatic sync workflows.
- Press Continue.
- Follow the background import in the task indicator.
- Review Companies and Contacts when the task finishes.
Import from Settings
- Open Settings → Integrations.
- Find the connected PowerOffice Go card.
- Select Import data and confirm.
- Wait for the task to finish before reviewing or searching records.
The import is safe to rerun for normal refreshes. PowerOffice identifiers are stored on CRM records so matching companies and contacts are updated instead of intentionally duplicated.
What the import brings in
- Companies for PowerOffice customers and suppliers, with name, organisation number, email, phone, website, address, city, postcode, country, active status, role categories, and source reference where available.
- Contacts for PowerOffice contact people, linked through the company relationship, with first and last name, job title, email, phone, address, city, postcode, and country where available.
- One company when the same PowerOffice record is both customer and supplier; the role categories are combined.
- Source references used by later imports, views, and sync workflows.
Invoices, sales orders, and products are not copied by this import workflow.
How to use it
Keep CRM records aligned with PowerOffice Go
When enabled, the customer workflow reacts to CRM company creation and updates. The contact workflow reacts to CRM contact creation and updates, provided the contact is related to a company. Each workflow maps supported fields and updates or creates the matching PowerOffice record.
These workflows send CRM changes to PowerOffice Go. They do not continuously poll PowerOffice Go for every later change, and they do not automatically sync invoices, sales orders, or products.
To enable one later:
- Open Workflows from the workspace navigation.
- Find Sync customer to PowerOffice or Sync contact to PowerOffice.
- Turn on the relevant switch and complete any activation prompt.
Turn the switch off to stop future automatic runs. Existing imported or synced records remain available.
Review PowerOffice information on a company record
- Open Companies and select a company linked to PowerOffice Go.
- Open the record’s Actions or Workflow panel.
- Select Views.
- Choose a PowerOffice view and select Refresh when you need the latest data.
- Expand an invoice or sales-order row to inspect line details when available.
| View | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Customer’s invoices | Invoice number, date, amount, status or paid state, due date, and expandable line details such as item, quantity, unit price, and VAT. |
| Customer’s sales orders | Sales order number, date, amount, status, and expandable line details. |
| Product catalogue | Product name, product number, price, and stock information from the PowerOffice catalogue. |
The product catalogue is shared by the connected PowerOffice company, not owned by the customer record from which it is opened. These views read PowerOffice data live and require a linked PowerOffice company reference.
Create a sales order from a company record
- Open the linked company record.
- Open its Actions or Workflow panel and select Actions.
- Choose Create PowerOffice sales order.
- Complete the form, review the customer, products, quantities, prices, and dates, then submit once.
Create PowerOffice sales order uses the current company and can use products from the live PowerOffice catalogue. It creates a sales order; it does not issue or send an invoice.
The standard PowerOffice Go company-record experience does not include product creation. Product catalogue is a read-only view here; use the product catalogue in PowerOffice Go itself when you need to add or change a product.
Use PowerOffice Go in a sales process
- Import customers, suppliers, and contact people.
- Create a CRM view for the next outreach or follow-up group.
- Capture mailbox, meeting, or recorder activity on the relevant records.
- Review invoices or sales orders before a commercial conversation.
- Create a sales order only after checking customer, product, quantity, price, and date details.
- Track owner, stage, proposal status, and next action in CRM.
Troubleshooting
The sign-in window does not open
Allow pop-ups and new tabs, then return to Settings → Integrations and select Connect or Reconnect again.
I selected the wrong PowerOffice client
Select Reconnect on the PowerOffice Go card, sign in again, and choose the correct authorised client company. Check its name and organisation number before importing.
The import completed but records are missing
Check the Companies and Contacts groups, confirm the task completed, and search by company name, organisation number, contact name, or email. Rerun Import data after correcting the selected client.
A company view is empty
The company must have a PowerOffice customer reference. Import the company from the correct client or enable the company sync workflow and save a matching company. Then refresh the view and check the connection.
A contact did not sync
Check that Sync contact to PowerOffice is enabled, that the CRM contact is related to a company, and that the company is linked to the same PowerOffice client. Link the contact and update it again.
A sales order action failed
Check the company link, customer details, selected products, quantities, prices, dates, and PowerOffice permissions. Check PowerOffice and the workflow result before retrying.
I need to replace or reset the connection
Use Reconnect for the same PowerOffice account or an expired authorisation. To replace the account or client entirely, review affected workflows, select Disconnect, then connect the intended client and select the desired import and sync workflows again.
Privacy and safety
Connect only the PowerOffice client company intended for this workspace. Review the client selection and imported records, check sales-order details before submitting, and use PowerOffice Go for official accounting approvals, invoices, and payments.
