Short answer
ZeroBounce is an email-validation layer. SoftSync can hold the source list, validation status, checked-at date, suppression reason, and campaign decision. Use the API or a verified export/bridge path, then keep unknown and risky results out of automatic enrollment until a person decides what they mean.
The situation
The list looks complete, but a single campaign can expose old addresses, disposable mailboxes, role accounts, catch-alls, or typos. The seller needs a clean audience and a record of why someone was excluded—not a mysterious drop in delivery after the send.
Connected workflow
- Create a small review group in SoftSync from CSV import or an enrichment export.
- Send only the minimum address and identifier fields to ZeroBounce.
- Bring back the result, reason, source, and validation date through the verified API or bridge.
- Use a SoftSync view for “valid,” “unknown,” “risky,” “suppressed,” and “needs human decision.”
- Enroll only approved records in mailbox campaigns, and preserve bounces and opt-outs on the record.
Human control and boundaries
Validation is not consent, relevance, or a guarantee that a message will reach the inbox. An “unknown” result needs a decision; it should not silently become “valid.” Recheck the current API endpoint, plan limits, and data-processing terms before publishing an implementation step.
What to measure
Measure invalid rate, unknown rate, duplicate rate, suppression handling time, bounce rate by source, and the percentage of sent records with a recent validation date.

FAQ
Does ZeroBounce warm up my mailbox?
No. Validation and warm-up are different jobs. Use a separate sender-readiness tool when that is genuinely needed.
Can SoftSync automatically exclude every risky result?
Build the policy deliberately. A reviewed suppression field is safer than assuming every vendor category has the same meaning for your audience.
